Committee - 14th December  The Staff again won the annual match, eight and a half to two and a half, played in some lovely Dercember sunshine. Captain David Tarbet can be seen above presenting the 'impressive' trophy to Secretary David Bowles. The actual definition of 'Staff' in the team selection was imaginative as usual!. Doe's Supper - 29th October Pictures. More news on the Ladies Page Epsom raise over £1,000 for the Roy Castle Cancer Fund - 17th Oct. Read the story on the Junior page  Alliance off to a flying start! In the first six months since the launch of the Alliance, a total of 847 rounds have been played under the new reciprocal arrangements. The table shows the distribution of rounds at the five participating clubs. As expected you can see a greater movement of Epsom players to the other clubs through the summer months. We would expect to see a reversal in the winter when our course is open longer.
A secondary objective of the Alliance is to reduce costs by acting as a group. A first success has been the total saving of about £6,000 in our annual insurance premiums! To take advantage of the reciprocal arrangement, just call the selected club and book a tee time, then pick up a voucher at our Pro Shop. Turn up and pay £5 per round on a weekday and £10 on a weekend. Don’t forget to comply with the local dress codes which are just like ours. See the Alliance website at www.surreyhillsgolf.co.uk. Well played! Epsom win the RAC Inter Club Trophy! - 10th June
Scott Howieson, Jamie O’Sullivan and Declan O'brien won the RAC Interclub Trophy. The competition was was played over 36 holes, with all scores counting. We shot 5 under par net for the day. Chipstead were second – 5 shots behind. Our individual scores were:- Scott – Net 70 & 71, Jamie – Net 71 & 73, Declan – Net 74 & 68. Well Played Read all about it!
